Greenskeeper 2 Dormie Club Golf Club 270 Dormie Drive, West End, NC 27376 Full-time Full-time Rustic, secluded, and peaceful, Dormie Club's 310 acres melt into the rolling hills. The only original Coore & Crenshaw design in North Carolina features a 241-yard reverse Redan par three and plays very fast. Definitely a bucket list course. Full Time and Part Time available depending on candidate. The Greenskeeper II / Operator provides skilled operational support to daily golf course maintenance activities, bringing experience, efficiency, and attention to detail to the care and presentation of the golf course.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As part of the Agronomy team, your essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide labor and operational support for daily golf course maintenance activities. Perform routine and advanced maintenance tasks such as raking bunkers, shoveling, trimming, operating backpack mowers, and walk or push mowing greens. Operate golf course maintenance equipment efficiently and safely in accordance with established standards. Support a wide range of golf course maintenance activities with minimal supervision. Perform all assigned tasks to established standards with a high level of care and consistency. Follow golf course etiquette standards while working on the course. Support upkeep of equipment through proper use and basic maintenance to maximize equipment life and minimize downtime. Identify and report damage, safety concerns, or operational issues to supervisors promptly. Inform supervisors of any incidents that occur during work activities. Adhere to Dormie Network policies, procedures, and safety programs at all times. Maintain professional appearance standards and wear assigned uniforms. Work collaboratively with fellow employees to support an efficient and positive team environment. Take direction from agronomy leadership and complete assigned tasks with limited supervision. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by agronomy leadership.

Maintains confidentiality when handling sensitive or proprietary information. Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on Club operations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of four years of prior golf course maintenance experience required.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Ability to walk and maneuver on uneven terrain. Ability to bend, crouch, stretch, push, pull, and perform physical labor as required. Ability to visually inspect turf conditions, machinery, and materials. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to operate local machinery when properly licensed. Ability to communicate effectively with others.
