Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees or shrubs to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment including power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Support planting activities by identifying plants, preparing soil, and installing new greenery or flower beds Maintain hardscape features like pathways, patios, or retaining walls by cleaning and minor repairs Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment Perform snow plowing or de-icing tasks during winter months to keep outdoor areas accessible and safe Requirements Prior outdoor work experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or gardening is highly preferred Basic mechanical knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment operation is essential Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture principles, and pesticide management is a plus Ability to use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools confidently Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance is desirable Strong adherence to safety protocols and procedures at all times Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods Excellent attention to detail for grounds maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, tree trimming, and snow plowing Embark on a fulfilling career where your efforts directly enhance outdoor spaces!
