Job Description Love the outdoors? Ponce Property Management is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Landscape technician to help maintain our properties looking their best! Pay will be based on experience and skill. (hablamos español). Willing to train the right candidate if limited experience. At Ponce Property Management, we strive to provide attentive and friendly customer service to our clients and tenants. We are looking for an individual who must emphasize safety, be self-motivated, reliable, and takes pride in their work. Opportunities will be readily available to move up in position and increased responsibility based on performance. Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to) Overall responsible for the success and completion of the assigned tasks Install and maintain irrigation systems to promote healthy landscapes Care for grass, plants, shrubs, and trees on all of our properties Snow Removal as needed for select properties Conduct landscape maintenance such as weeding, mulching, rock, and fertilizing Operate and maintain groundskeeping tools and equipment. Responsible for performing basic maintenance on all tools (training can be provided if necessary) Communicate with supervisors regarding site issues, needed supplies, or safety concerns Follow all safety guidelines when operating machinery or applying landscape treatments Assist the general maintenance team as needed Skills Must be able to work well with a small team; strong communication skills Must have reliable transportation to work Must be able to work efficiently independently Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs Must have strong interpersonal skills: Friendly and Respectful Ability to critical think and problem solve Have attention to detail in all aspects of work Requirements Must have a valid driver's license Must have reliable transportation to work 1 year min. of groundskeeping preferred but willing to train the right candidate Benefits Competitive hourly rate based on experience Flexible scheduling - perfect for students or those balancing other jobs Qualified Candidates - PTO accrual and Paid Holidays Work Vehicle provided
