Job Description
Job Overview Join our team as a Landscaping and Snow Removal Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces and ensuring safety during winter months. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors across various terrains, utilizing your skills in landscape maintenance, snow plowing, and groundskeeping. You'll be responsible for enhancing the aesthetic appeal of properties while ensuring safe, functional outdoor environments year-round. Whether shaping landscapes or clearing pathways, your work will directly contribute to the beauty and safety of our clients' properties. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, planting, pruning, and flower bed care to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems with precision and safety adherence Conduct tree trimming, shrub shaping, and hardscape installation to enhance landscape design and structure Execute snow plowing, shoveling, and de-icing procedures to maintain clear pathways during winter weather conditions Ability to operate a snow plow truck, skid steer or loader. Snow plow experience preferred Maintain equipment through routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs to ensure reliable operation throughout the seasons Qualifications Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of grounds maintenance and landscaping practices Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, landscaping equipment, and irrigation systems Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, planting, pruning, and hardscape installation Ability to operate snow removal equipment such as snow plows and shovels efficiently during winter months Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and pesticide management best practices Construction experience or familiarity with excavation equipment like excavators is a plus Commitment to safety protocol adherence in all tasks; ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong attention to detail combined with physical stamina for manual labor tasks involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
