Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces. Operate groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape machinery safely and efficiently. Identify plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to maintain healthy landscapes and manage pest control using appropriate pesticide management techniques. Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and water conservation. Conduct groundskeeping activities like snow plowing during winter months to keep outdoor areas accessible and safe. Follow all safety protocols diligently while handling tools, equipment, and chemicals to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist with landscape design projects by installing hardscape features such as pathways or retaining walls when needed. Requirements 1-3 years of residential/commercial lawn maintenance & landscaping experience Experience with all aspects of lawn and landscape maintenance Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional attitude and attention to detail Ability and willingness to work 40 regular hours per week Overtime availability when needed Ability to work outdoors and handle physically demanding work Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of groundskeeping practices. Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation and maintenance. Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including lawn care, gardening, tree trimming, and groundskeeping procedures. Ability to identify plants accurately and apply horticultural principles effectively. Experience operating power tools, hand tools, irrigation systems, and other landscaping machinery safely. Knowledge of pesticide management practices in compliance with safety standards. Excellent adherence to safety protocols combined with a proactive attitude towards maintaining a safe work environment. Strong physical stamina for lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and performing physically demanding tasks outdoors.
