In this role, you will be the cornerstone of joyful experiences, ensuring that every child feels welcomed and secure while participating in playful activities. Your energy and attentiveness will help foster a positive atmosphere. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working in a lively, dynamic setting. Responsibilities Open/Close store and work a full shift by yourself Check in guests and explain rules to new customers Blow up balloons to give out to children who are leaving for the day Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Enforce safety rules and behavior management policies to maintain a secure environment Provide first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any minor injuries or incidents Support children with disabilities or special needs, everyone deserves to have a great time Maintain cleanliness and organization of the play area, ensuring equipment is safe and sanitized Maintain cleanliness of outer seating area such as, glass windows, tables and cubbies Engage with parents and guardians to communicate about their child's experience and address any concerns Speak with guests about our birthday party packages Use calling application to make cold calls to guests regarding party packages Set up and take down birthday parties when applicable Stock snack, juice and sock stations as necessary Disinfect all seating areas, cubbies and structures as directed nightly Remove trash regularly to maintain a clean and safe dining area Mop floors and play-mats after closing Close register at the end of the night Be able to work up to an 11 hour shift Qualifications Must be +18 Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or classroom environments is a plus Ability to stand for extended periods of time Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members Ability to handle behavior management challenges with patience and professionalism Passion for creating a fun, safe play space Customer service experience and ability to handle multiple phone calls
