Building & Grounds Shift "A", 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
DESCRIPTION
Grounds Worker, Shift "A", 6:30 AM to 3:00 PMESSENTIAL DUTIES
Maintain grounds including lawns, landscaping, shrubs, trees, and gardens. Sprays fertilizers and/or insecticides as necessary ot directed Maintains drainage culverts and ponds as necessary or directed. Installs or repairs fences, gates, and road barriers traffic and information signs Maintain bleachers and other athletic equipment as assigned. Drives and operates; vans, trucks, dump trucks, tractors with various attachments and heavy equipment. Paint fences. Out buildings, booths, parking lines, traffic lines, and curbing as assigned Installs athletic playground equipment. Reports to assigned location during inclement weather to ensure the safe opening of District buildings by the FTSSA agreement and to be available for emergencies, including inclement weather, outside of the normal workday. Work outdoors during all seasons and weather conditions. In cases of emergencies or personnel shortages, may be assigned to a Custodial position or to assist a Maintenance Mechanic. Be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position as defined under the qualifications section. Performs other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
