Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess a variety of skills related to landscaping and maintenance. This role involves performing various tasks related to landscape maintenance, lawn care, and construction projects, ensuring that our clients' outdoor spaces are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks. Assist with the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Provide tree care services including tree trimming and removal as necessary. Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Participate in gardening activities such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees. Conduct snow plowing during winter months to maintain accessibility for clients. Utilize excavators for digging and moving earth as required for landscaping projects. Collaborate with team members on larger construction projects to ensure timely completion. Uphold safety standards while working in various outdoor environments. Qualifications Mechanical knowledge is preferred to operate equipment effectively. Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general landscaping practices is essential. Familiarity with horticulture principles and plant care techniques is a plus. Ability to handle hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely. Previous experience in construction or hardscape installation is beneficial. Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is advantageous. Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
