Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in all seasons, utilizing your skills in landscape maintenance, gardening, and construction. As a key contributor, you will assist with a variety of landscaping projects, from planting and lawn care to hardscape installation and tree trimming. We are looking for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in horticulture, irrigation, and equipment operation while contributing to the beautification of our community spaces. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor areas Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators and snow plows safely and efficiently Support tree care activities like trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth and safety Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and installing components to ensure proper watering schedules Help with hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures Perform routine gardening tasks such as soil preparation, fertilizing, mulching, and pest control Conduct general site cleanup and ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities Qualifications Prior experience or knowledge in landscaping, lawn care, or construction is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is valued Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools and hand tools is beneficial Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided Basic understanding of horticulture principles including plant care and landscape maintenance techniques Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials safely Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards on job sites Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new skills in landscaping and land management Join us in creating vibrant outdoor environments!
