Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Technician and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. Whether you're trimming trees, installing irrigation systems, or operating power tools, your expertise will help transform outdoor environments into vibrant, inviting areas for communities and clients alike. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, edging, and planting to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive. Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, excavators, and other power tools safely and efficiently. Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of lawns and plant beds. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to support horticultural health and landscape design. Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to protect plants from pests and promote growth. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and assessing tree health for safety and aesthetics. Assist with hardscape projects such as installing pathways, retaining walls, or other outdoor features while adhering to safety guidelines. Requirements Prior outdoor work experience is preferred but not required. Mechanical knowledge related to landscape maintenance equipment and power tools. Ability to operate irrigation systems and troubleshoot related issues effectively. Knowledge of safety protocols for handling equipment, chemicals, and performing physical tasks outdoors. Experience with grounds maintenance including mowing, snow plowing (seasonal), tree trimming, and garden care. Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
