This is currently a part-time, variable-hour position with opportunities for additional hours as workload increases and based on reliability, performance, and business growth.
Starting Pay:
$18.00/hour
Monthly Reliability Bonus:
Up to $100

Must be able to report by 8:00 AM Responsibilities
  • Perform routine residential landscape maintenance
  • Mow, edge, trim, weed, blow, and complete property cleanups
  • Safely operate standard landscaping equipment including mowers, string trimmers/weed eaters, blowers, hedge trimmers, and hand tools
  • Identify and report irrigation leaks, damaged equipment, declining plants, property damage, or other concerns
  • Maintain company tools and equipment responsibly
  • Follow property-specific instructions and J&P quality standards
  • Communicate client requests or field concerns to management
  • Work independently or as part of a crew depending on the property and experience level Requirements
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Reliable transportation to report to work
  • Minimum 1 year of landscape maintenance experience
  • Familiar and competent with standard landscaping equipment
  • Able to understand and communicate basic work instructions in English
  • Able to reliably report by 8:00 AM for scheduled shifts
  • Comfortable performing physical outdoor work in Las Vegas conditions
  • Reliable attendance and communication
  • Willingness to learn and follow J&P procedures
  • Saturday availability is preferred, but not required Schedule & Flexibility This is not currently a full-time position.
Weekly hours may vary based on scheduled maintenance, projects, and business needs. J&P understands that employees have responsibilities outside of work. We are willing to work with scheduling needs when communicated in advance. Employees may arrange coverage for a scheduled shift with manager approval. Optional additional shifts may be accepted or declined without penalty; once an additional shift is accepted, it becomes a scheduled commitment. Growth Opportunities We want employees who are interested in becoming more valuable to the company — and earning more as their skills and responsibilities grow. Employees begin at the Crew Member level. Those who demonstrate strong reliability, quality, efficiency, equipment competency, communication, and good judgment may qualify to work approved maintenance routes independently and eventually advance into Route Lead responsibilities. Advancement is based on demonstrated ability and performance, not simply time with the company. What We're Looking For Experience matters, but so does how you work. We're looking for someone who shows up when they say they will, takes care of our clients' properties, communicates when something isn't right, respects company equipment, works efficiently without cutting corners, and takes pride in leaving a property looking better than they found it.
