Transformed Tree Care is a small, family-owned tree company serving Reno and Sparks. We're looking for a dependable part-time crew member who enjoys demanding outdoor work, working with equipment, and being part of a capable team. This position may be a great match for someone with experience or interests in: Tree climbing, rock climbing or working at heights Search and rescue, wildland fire, military or public safety Dirt bikes, mountain biking or outdoor recreation Strength training, construction, landscaping or mechanical work Working outdoors while maintaining another career or responsibility Groundsmen will assist with ropes, rigging, dragging and processing branches, chipping, cleanup, equipment handling and supporting the climber. Experienced climbers may also assist with pruning and removals based on demonstrated ability. We're looking for someone who: Arrives on time and ready to work Is physically prepared for repetitive lifting, pulling and dragging Notices what needs to be done and steps in without constant direction Communicates clearly and takes safety seriously Treats customers, coworkers and equipment with respect Wants consistent part-time work and can commit to an agreed schedule Takes pride in leaving a property exceptionally clean

Schedule:

Approximately 2-3 weekdays per week, depending on workload and availability. Early-morning starts are typical.

Pay:

Groundsman:

Starting around $23/hour, depending on experience Experienced climber: $25-$35/hour, depending on demonstrated ability Tree-care experience is helpful but not required for a strong groundsman candidate. Climbing applicants must have relevant experience and will be evaluated on safety, technique and judgment. Selected candidates will complete an interview and paid working interview.
