Landscaping or equipment-operating experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Lawn Mowing Responsibilities Perform property-maintenance work. Safely operate commercial landscaping equipment, power tools, and hand tools. Maintain a clean and organized truck, trailer, equipment, and jobsite. Follow company procedures and safety requirements. Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Winter Snow-Blowing Responsibilities During the winter, this position may include operating a tractor-mounted inverted snow blower to clear residential driveways. Remain available for on-call snow dispatches. Report for work whenever snowfall reaches our 3-inch service trigger. Safely and efficiently operate tractors and inverted snow blowers. Follow assigned routes and complete residential driveways accurately. Use company software to document completed work, equipment usage, property conditions, and any issues encountered. Inspect equipment and assist with routine maintenance. Follow all safety procedures to prevent injuries and property or equipment damage. Snowstorms do not follow a normal schedule. Operators must be prepared to work overnight, early-morning, weekend, and holiday hours when weather conditions require service. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable transportation to our East Aurora shop. Ability to commute to East Aurora during normal operations and winter weather. Dependable attendance and ability to arrive on time. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and commercial equipment. Mechanical aptitude and equipment-operating experience are preferred. Previous landscaping, tractor, excavator, heavy-equipment, snow-plowing, or snow-blowing experience is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn and follow established company procedures.
