Duties Operate mowers, plows, and other groundskeeping equipment to maintain lawns, gardens, and hardscape features efficiently and safely. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as trimming, edging, planting, and pruning to uphold aesthetic standards. Use hand tools and power tools for planting, soil preparation, weed control, and other landscaping activities. Clear snow and ice using plows during winter months to maintain safe pathways and access points. Adhere strictly to safety protocols while operating equipment and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Conduct routine inspections of groundskeeping equipment; perform basic maintenance or report repairs promptly to ensure optimal operation. Qualifications Proven outdoor work experience with groundskeeping or landscaping tasks. Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation and maintenance. Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including mowing, gardening, hardscape installation, and plant identification. Experience operating lawn mowers, plows, power tools, hand tools, and other groundskeeping equipment. Ability to follow detailed safety protocols during all outdoor work activities. Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to grounds maintenance tasks.
