Follow directions from the Head and Assistant Golf Superintendent for the day to day operations of the course during the golf season. Main duties include but are not limited to: Operation of gas/diesel powered golf equipment (i.e. mowers, weed trimmers, aerators, chemical applicators/spreaders, sand rakes, chain saws, golf carts, utility vehicles, leaf vacuums, pick-up trucks, skid steers, etc.) for the maintenance of the course. Maintenance of cart paths, golf course furniture, and all other golf course facilities. Use of manual tools (shovels, rakes, sledge hammers, picks, etc.) Closing and opening of golf course and course facilities Follow directions from the Maintenance Superintendent for the day to day maintenance of the Resort grounds and home/condo/townhouse owner's property during the off season. Main duties include but are not limited to: Shovel sidewalks, pathways, and decks during snow events. Clear roadways, parking lots, and driveways during snow events by use of plow trucks. Cleaning and refurbishing (sanding, painting, staining) of golf course furniture and signage. Cutting and splitting of firewood (chain saw and log splitter use) Firewood delivery to property owners. Garbage collection.

Compensation:

This position is compensated on an hourly rate based on a 40 hour work week. Occasionally, overtime is required and starting and ending times may vary depending upon the season. The work week extends from Monday through Sunday with payday on Friday of each week for time worked the previous week.

Experience:

This position requires as a minimum: A high school diploma or

GED A NYS

Driver License Additional Job Requirements:

Outdoor physical labor (shoveling, raking, tree trimming, etc.) in all types of weather Good communication skills with Resort staff, property owner's and guests. Occasionally move and raise up to 80 lb. bags of Sakrete or similar material from the ground to a pick-up truck bed to job site

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
