Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Groundskeeper / Porter to join our team and help maintain the beauty, safety, and cleanliness of our Apartment Complex inlcuding outdoor spaces and common areas. In this role, you will be the first line of defense in keeping our grounds, common areas, and amenities looking pristine for our residents and prospective renters. This is an excellent entry level position with opportunities for growth into a maintenance technician role.

Responsibilities Curbe Appeal & Grounds:

Daily inspection and cleaning of all outdoor areas, including parking lots, sidewalks, courtyards, and hallways. Remove trash, debris, and pet waste..

Amenities Care:

Clean and maintain the leasing office, laundry facilities and common areas.

Trash Management:

Consolidate trash, maintain dumpster areas free from debris and dumped items.

Make-Ready Assistance:

Support the maintenance team buy removing abandoned trash/furniture from vacant apartments, demolition in preparation for renovation, basic paint prep and touch-up painting, and final cleaning of units for occupancy.

Safety & SEsonal Maintenance:

Clear walkways and entryways of snow/ice during winter months, apply salt, and report any potential liability or safety hazards to the supervisor. Interact professionally and politely with residents and guests while working on the property. Other duties as may be assigned. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in property maintenance, landscaping, or housekeeping is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Ability to operate basic hand tools and motorized equipment. Strong Work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow). Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and crouch for extended periods. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
