Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tree Trimmer/Groundsperson, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the health, safety, and beauty of urban and rural landscapes. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your skills in tree care, pruning, and landscape maintenance. You will assist with tree trimming, removal, and planting projects while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work and horticulture will help us deliver exceptional service to our clients and communities. Duties Operate bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment safely to access trees for trimming or removal (training provided). Use arborist rigging techniques to prune, shape, or remove trees effectively and safely Perform tree removal tasks with chainsaws and other hand tools, ensuring proper technique and safety measures Assist general site cleanup to enhance landscape aesthetics Follow strict safety protocols during all operations, including rigging and bucket operation procedures. Support ground crew with equipment setup, material handling, and site maintenance to ensure smooth workflow Experience Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, horticulture, or tree care preferred but not required; training will be provided. Hands-on experience with bucket trucks, rigging techniques, or tree removal equipment is highly desirable Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques for safe tree trimming and pruning operations Demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols rigorously during all tasks involving height work or heavy machinery Growing experience in horticulture or landscaping enhances your ability to contribute effectively to diverse projects Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions are essential This role offers an exciting chance to develop your skills in arboriculture while contributing to safe, beautiful landscapes.
