We're Hiring — Building Our 2027 Team We're a small NYC landscape design and installation company specializing in residential gardening. We provide both garden maintenance and landscape installation services. We're looking to build a strong field team ahead of the 2027 season. Our goal is to develop reliable crews, create clear responsibilities within the team, and give good people the opportunity to grow with the company. We're currently hiring for two positions: Crew Leader The Crew Leader will be responsible for leading a small crew and making sure the day's work gets done properly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Lead a small crew on garden maintenance and installation projects Drive a company vehicle throughout NYC Coordinate daily work with the Garden Manager Manage and train crew members Make day-to-day decisions on the job site Communicate job-site issues, material needs, and other important information to the Garden Manager Perform and oversee garden maintenance and installation work Assist with planting, pruning, seasonal work, and irrigation Maintain tools, equipment, and the company vehicle Help ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard Experience with professional garden maintenance, landscape installation, or irrigation is a plus. We're willing to train the right person. We're looking for someone who is dependable, takes initiative, communicates well, and is interested in taking on increasing responsibility as the company grows.

Gardener / Helper

The Gardener / Helper will work alongside the Crew Leader and other team members to complete maintenance and installation work.

Responsibilities:

Assist with residential garden maintenance and installations Plant, prune, weed, water, and perform seasonal garden work Assist with irrigation and landscape installation Load, unload, and organize plants, materials, and equipment Keep job sites clean and organized Follow direction from the Crew Leader Learn the company's approach to gardening and landscape work Develop the skills to take on more responsibility over time Previous gardening or landscaping experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person. NYC driving experience is also a plus. We're looking for someone who is hardworking, reliable, willing to learn, and takes pride in doing good work. Building the Team We're hiring ahead of the 2027 season because we want to build and train the team properly rather than simply add people as work comes in. As the company grows, there will be opportunities for strong employees to take on more responsibility, lead crews, and develop into larger roles within the company.
