Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscaper/Pellet Worker and bring vibrant outdoor spaces to life! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful landscapes, operating groundskeeping equipment, and handling pellet production tasks. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work, combined with your mechanical aptitude and horticultural knowledge, will help create stunning environments while ensuring safety and efficiency on every project. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscape maintenance, equipment operation, and sustainable grounds management. Duties Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting, and hardscape installation to enhance outdoor aesthetics. Operate a variety of groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems. Identify plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and pest management; apply pesticides following safety protocols. Maintain pellet production by managing pelletizing machinery and ensuring quality control standards are met. Assist with irrigation system setup, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure healthy plant growth. Follow safety procedures diligently during all outdoor activities to prevent accidents and promote a safe work environment. Conduct routine grounds inspections to identify maintenance needs and perform necessary repairs or adjustments. Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and pellet machinery operation. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and groundskeeping equipment operation. Ability to identify various plants and understand horticultural principles; experience with pest management is a plus. Knowledge of irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Commitment to safety protocol adherence during all tasks; ability to follow detailed instructions accurately. Strong work ethic with the physical stamina required for outdoor labor in various weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail in landscape care, pellet production quality control, and equipment operation.
