In the winter, duties are expected to include shoveling, plowing, and snow blowing of snow which requires the proper and safe use of multiple types of equipment and vehicles. Other duties may include patching blacktop and operating chainsaws. Ensuring the proper maintenance of grounds equipment is also necessary. As illustrated, it is important to note that the activities and tasks assigned will vary according to the season and daily weather conditions. Evening and weekend work are also expected and may be required based on operational need and this position is subject to recall when deemed necessary by appropriate personnel.
