JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Lawn Care & Landscape Technician at JJ Property Maintenance, you'll be responsible for maintaining the appearance of residential and commercial properties across the Champlain Valley. Your primary focus will be mowing, trimming, and edging on a set route, with additional time spent assisting our landscape team on pruning, shrub care, and seasonal maintenance work. You'll be expected to work efficiently and independently, manage your own time on route, and take pride in the finished product on every property.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience operating commercial mowing equipment (zero-turn, stand-on, walk-behind) preferred Experience with pruning techniques and hand tools, or willingness to learn Comfortable safely towing and backing a trailer Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to work in all weather conditions, including working in the hot sun, rain, and cold Ability to work with minimal supervision, in a safe manner, and at a consistent pace, while following company policies and procedures Punctual, dependable, and respectful with strong attention to detail Good communication skills and a positive attitude Performance based motivation Summary As a Lawn Care & Landscape Technician, you will be essential in maintaining outdoor spaces through weekly mowing service and hands-on landscape work. Core responsibilities will include mowing, string trimming, edging, blowing, pruning, weeding, mulching, and general clean-ups. Your mechanical knowledge will aid in operating equipment effectively and identifying maintenance issues in the field.
