Part-Time Lawn Care & Snow Removal Technician Anchors Aweigh LLC - Potsdam, NY Anchors Aweigh LLC is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team year-round. This position offers a variety of outdoor work throughout the seasons, including lawn care in the spring, summer, and fall, and snow removal during the winter. ResponsibilitiesLawn Care Season Operate commercial zero-turn mowers String trimming and edging Spring and fall property clean-ups Mulching and landscape maintenance Leaf removal and debris cleanup General property maintenance Safely tow and operate trucks and trailers with lawn equipment Use a company-issued iPad for daily routing, customer information, work orders, and time tracking Snow Season Snow plowing with pickup trucks Operating a tractor with a front-mounted snow blower Snow removal for residential and commercial customers Use a company-issued iPad for routing, navigation, and customer service information during snow events Equipment inspections before and after each storm Equipment Maintenance Perform routine preventative maintenance on company equipment Sharpen mower blades and replace them as needed Grease mowers, tractors, trailers, and other equipment according to maintenance schedules Check engine oil, hydraulic fluid, coolant, tire pressure, and other fluid levels Wash and clean mowers, trucks, trailers, tractors, and snow removal equipment to keep them in professional working condition Remove grass buildup, dirt, salt, and debris from equipment after use to help prevent corrosion and extend equipment life Clean equipment daily and report any mechanical issues promptly Help keep the shop, trucks, trailers, and equipment clean, organized, and ready for the next workday Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Current DOT Medical Card or the ability to pass a DOT physical Required experience towing trucks and trailers Experience operating commercial lawn equipment is preferred Experience operating tractors, snow blowers, or snow plows is preferred Comfortable using an iPad and mobile apps for routing, work orders, and communication Mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform routine equipment maintenance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions Winter Availability Snow removal is weather-dependent. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays during the snow season when storms occur. Early morning, overnight, and late-night shifts may be required to ensure our customers receive timely snow removal services. Reliability and flexibility during winter weather events are essential.
