The LandTek Group has been a leader in the construction of athletic fields for professional stadiums, colleges, parks, and school districts for over 40 years. We are looking for a Landscaper for a specific location in Stony Brook, NY.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

Maintaining the appearance of the University grounds and fields as well as landscaping features such as lawns, trees, shrubs, hedges, flower beds, and other ornamental plants. Performing regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and weeding to ensure that the grounds and fields are always in top condition. Maintaining the Football Stadium, tennis courts, baseball and softball fields, and soccer fields. We also mow and maintain the Cross Country track. Operating and maintaining various types of landscaping equipment, such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and hedge clippers. Working with Mulch and soil when needed. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Providing excellent customer service to University staff, students, and visitors.

Requirements:

Ability to lift 50lbs, bend, and stand/walk for the majority of your shift Work Mon-Fri and Sat (required when there are games)
