In this energetic role, you will assist with a variety of landscaping tasks, groundskeeping, landscape maintenance projects and snow removal. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning using hand tools and power equipment Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Support planting, transplanting, and plant identification to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor activities to prevent accidents or injuries Perform general groundskeeping duties including debris removal, soil preparation, fertilization, and pesticide management when applicable Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience or familiarity with grounds maintenance is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential Basic mechanical knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment operation is highly desirable Knowledge of horticulture principles, plant identification, lawn care practices is a plus Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while adhering to safety standards Strong attention to detail with excellent teamwork skills Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods Familiarity with irrigation systems and hardscape maintenance is advantageous Embark on a rewarding journey in landscape maintenance where your efforts directly enhance outdoor environments.
