Job Summary Join our dynamic landscape maintenance team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves performing a variety of groundskeeping tasks, utilizing hand tools and power equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. You will work outdoors in diverse environments, contributing to the aesthetic appeal and health of landscaped areas while gaining valuable experience in horticulture, irrigation systems, and grounds maintenance. Duties Assist with landscape installation, planting, pruning, and trimming of trees, shrubs, and flowers to enhance outdoor aesthetics Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools safely and efficiently Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, aerating, and applying fertilizers or pesticides following safety protocols Support irrigation system installation, repair, and regular testing to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas Perform hardscape maintenance including cleaning walkways, patios, and retaining walls to preserve site integrity Identify various plants and trees to ensure proper care and health management Follow all safety procedures diligently during outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience or background in landscaping or groundskeeping is highly preferred Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices such as mowing, pruning, planting, and lawn care Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, and grounds maintenance equipment safely Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and pesticide management is a plus Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety protocol adherence in all tasks Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods Join us as a Landscape Laborer to bring vibrant outdoor spaces to life!
