Job Summary Join our dynamic grounds maintenance team as a Mower/Landscaper, where you will play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves operating a variety of landscaping and groundskeeping equipment to ensure lawns, gardens, and hardscape features are pristine, vibrant, and inviting. Your expertise in landscape maintenance and passion for outdoor work will help transform outdoor environments into stunning, well-kept landscapes that inspire and delight. Duties Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, power tools, and other groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently to maintain turf, gardens, and hardscape features. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, planting, weeding and mulching to uphold aesthetic standards. Conduct tree trimming and shrub pruning to promote plant health and safety. Identify plants, pests, and diseases; apply appropriate horticultural practices or pesticides following safety protocols. Follow all safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment operation. Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, and groundskeeping. Ability to identify various plants, trees, pests, and diseases relevant to landscaping. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and grounds maintenance equipment. Knowledge of irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair. Familiarity with pesticide management practices following safety protocols. Outdoor work experience with a focus on safety adherence in all tasks performed. Excellent understanding of horticulture principles related to lawn care, plant health, and landscape design.
