Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Snow Removal Technician to ensure safe and accessible outdoor environments during winter months. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently clearing snow and ice from designated areas, maintaining pathways, parking lots, and walkways to promote safety for employees, clients, and visitors. Your expertise in groundskeeping and outdoor maintenance will help keep properties functional and hazard-free during inclement weather. Duties Operate snow removal equipment such as plows, blowers, shovels, and salt spreaders to clear snow and ice from walkways, driveways, parking lots, and other outdoor areas Apply salt or de-icing materials following safety protocols to prevent ice formation and ensure safe footing Conduct routine inspections of outdoor spaces to identify hazardous icy patches or snow buildup that require attention Maintain and troubleshoot groundskeeping equipment including power tools, hand tools, and landscaping machinery to ensure optimal performance Follow safety procedures diligently during all snow removal activities to prevent accidents or injuries Coordinate with property management or maintenance teams to prioritize high-traffic areas for snow clearance Document completed work and report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly Experience Previous outdoor work experience in winter conditions or groundskeeping roles preferred Mechanical knowledge related to operating snow removal machinery and landscaping equipment Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, gardening, tree trimming, hardscape upkeep, and irrigation systems Hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools, and groundskeeping equipment operation required Knowledge of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments in winter weather conditions Understanding of plant identification, horticulture principles, pesticide management, and grounds maintenance best practices is a plus Ability to work independently in outdoor settings while adhering to safety standards is essential Join us as a Snow Removal Technician and play a vital role in maintaining safe, accessible outdoor spaces during the winter season!
