ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITES

To assist with the installation of hardscapes and softscapes that exceed the quality standards established by GreenScapes, and to expertly complete the job as directed by the Foreman. Perform a wide variety of landscape maintenance functions related to but not limited to mowing, trimming, irrigation, edging, and pruning. Loading/unloading of trucks and trailers. Snow removal. Be proficient in the use of basic power equipment: hedge trimmers, mowers, and leaf blowers. Be proficient in the use of basic hand tools: leaf rake, broom, hoe, shovel, cultivator, hand pruners, and hedge shears. Work with other crew members as a team. Ability to take and follow direction.

ESSENTIAL JOB STANDARDS

Report any problems or potential problems to your supervisor immediately. Follow all safety policies and procedures regarding the safe operation of equipment and tools. Do not operate any equipment that you are not authorized or trained to operate. Report any equipment damage or repair requests to your supervisor. Report to work on time.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS A

minimum of High School diploma or GED. Previous landscape experience preferred. Previous experience with commercial grade landscape equipment preferred. Valid Driver's license.
