Overview Join our dynamic grounds maintenance team as a Mower/Landscaper and bring outdoor spaces to life with your expertise! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing landscapes through precise mowing, landscaping, and groundskeeping practices. Your skills will ensure that outdoor environments are safe, beautiful, and well-kept, creating inviting spaces for communities, clients, or recreational areas. Whether working with hand tools or power equipment, your enthusiasm and attention to detail will make a tangible difference every day. Responsibilities Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, hedge cutters, and other grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently to maintain lawns, gardens, and landscapes. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, and installing hardscape features. Use hand tools and power tools for planting, edging, aerating, and other landscaping activities. Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health; apply horticultural knowledge to promote growth. Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Maintain cleanliness of work areas by removing debris, leaves, and waste materials regularly. Experience Prior outdoor work experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to operating grounds equipment and troubleshooting minor repairs. Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, planting, pruning, and pest management. Ability to identify common plants and trees; understanding of horticulture principles enhances performance. Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions while adhering to safety guidelines.
