Known for our rich history and beautifully manicured grounds, we pride ourselves on providing an unparalleled experience for our members. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team and help us maintain the impeccable standards that define our club. Join our dynamic groundskeeping team as a Grounds Crew Member, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your skills in landscape maintenance, turf care, and equipment operation. You'll contribute to creating the well-manicured landscapes that enhance the environment for our membership and their guests. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in grounds maintenance and landscaping. Duties Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, and planting to ensure attractive and healthy outdoor spaces Operate ground maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, power tools, chainsaws, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Conduct landscaping tasks including planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and applying pesticides or fertilizers following safety protocols Assist with heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to manual handling safety standards Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal operation and longevity Requirements Prior experience or knowledge in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or golf course groundskeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided Ability to work weekends Familiarity with irrigation systems, power tools, hand tools, and ground equipment operation is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work outdoors in various weather conditions Knowledge of pesticide management and safety procedures is a plus Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles or similar equipment preferred
