Responsibilities Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, hedge cutters, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently to maintain lawns, gardens, and hardscape areas Perform mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming of grass, shrubs, trees, and other plants to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Identify various plants, weeds, pests, and diseases to support healthy landscape growth and implement appropriate pest management strategies Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and address them promptly Apply fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides following safety protocols to enhance plant health while minimizing environmental impact Maintain tools and equipment in excellent condition through regular cleaning, sharpening, and repairs Experience Proven outdoor work experience in groundskeeping or landscaping roles with a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools and groundskeeping equipment safely and effectively Familiarity with irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance techniques Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant identification, pruning techniques, and soil management Experience with pesticide management adhering to safety protocols and environmental regulations Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a high level of safety awareness Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Join us in creating beautiful outdoor environments!
