Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and dependable Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our outdoor spaces and facilities. Your expertise in groundskeeping, landscaping, and maintenance will help create a welcoming environment for visitors and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in outdoor work, equipment operation, and plant care while contributing to the overall upkeep of our property. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to maintain healthy and attractive grounds Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health management Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as they arise Conduct routine inspections of outdoor areas to identify hazards or maintenance needs and address them promptly Apply pesticides or fertilizers following safety protocols to protect plant health while minimizing environmental impact Execute hardscape repairs such as fixing pathways, retaining walls, or other outdoor structures as needed Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely Extensive outdoor work experience with grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment operation Knowledge of horticulture practices including plant identification, pruning techniques, and soil management Familiarity with irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair techniques Ability to perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilizing effectively Experience with tree trimming, gardening, and landscape design principles Adherence to safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment Join us in maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces where safety meets excellence!
