JOB SUMMARY
The Floor Care Trash & Linen Technician is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the floor care and equipment and manage the removal regular and biohazard waste and soiled linen in the hospital and Knox Medical Pavilion.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA regulations. Demonstrates the ability to multi-task and prioritize work in order to meet current needs within established timeframes. Clean all baseboards with wet mop once a week. Clean walls, hand rails, stainless steel and mop Technoflor in elevators 1,2,3,4 and 5 at the hospital daily. Clean all entrances and collect outside trash daily. Requirements Include
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE A
high school diploma or equivalent preferred. High School or Trade School students may be considered if they can legally work the hours necessary for the position. Prior experience preferred. Prior floor care experience preferred. Must have a valid Ohio driver's license.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Must have the ability to read, write, and perform basic math, work in a fast pace environment, and be self-motivated.
