Job Description
Groundsman - Tree Service Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Groundsman to join our tree service crew. The Groundsman plays a vital role in supporting the rest of the team by maintaining a safe and efficient worksite. This position involves physical outdoor work, operating equipment, cleaning up job sites, and assisting with tree removal, trimming, and general tree care. Experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Key Responsibilities Assist crew members with daily operations. Drag, chip, and dispose of tree limbs, brush, and debris. Operate chainsaws, wood chippers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely. Maintain a clean and organized job site. Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials. Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles. Communicate effectively with crew members and customers when needed. Qualifications Valid driver's license required (CDL is a plus). Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. and perform physically demanding work. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. Ability to work as part of a team.
