Job description: Snowville Creamery is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Facility & Grounds Technician to help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional facility. This role supports food safety, employee safety, facility appearance, and day-to-day operations through a variety of hands-on tasks. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in maintaining buildings and grounds, and prefers a job where no two days are exactly the same. What You'll Do Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility, both inside and outside Sweep warehouses, storage areas, walkways, and outdoor concrete surfaces Clean truck cabs and company vehicles Empty trash containers and outdoor receptacles Maintain employee restrooms and common areas between scheduled housekeeping visits Remove cobwebs, debris, bird nests, and other pest harborages Assist with pest prevention and facility housekeeping projects Operate and monitor the facility wastewater system, including operating a touchscreen control system and occasionally repositioning field sprinklers Assist with painting, pressure washing, organizing storage areas, and light maintenance projects Support preparation for audits, inspections, visitors, and facility tours Report maintenance, safety, or facility concerns to management What We're Looking For The right candidate: Takes pride in their work Notices details that others miss Enjoys staying active and working with their hands Can work independently with minimal supervision Is dependable and shows up consistently Is willing to take on a variety of tasks as facility needs change Experience in maintenance, farming, construction, landscaping, janitorial services, manufacturing, or related fields is helpful, but not required.
