Grounds Crew Member

Job Summary Join our dynamic Grounds Crew team and play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and health of our outdoor spaces! As a Grounds Crew Member, you will be responsible for supporting landscape maintenance, lawn care, and gardening tasks to ensure our grounds are vibrant, safe, and inviting. Duties Perform landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep grounds looking pristine. Assist with irrigation system setup, inspection, and repairs to ensure proper watering of all plantings. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for planting, weeding, mulching, and general grounds upkeep. Support gardening efforts by planting new greenery, fertilizing existing plants, and removing weeds or debris. Conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Care for resident chickens in the coop Help with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow clearing, or preparing landscapes for different weather conditions. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Requirements Basic knowledge of landscaping practices including lawn care, gardening, and flowers Experience using hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers). Must be willing to get your hands/clothing dirty Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions; stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and walking. Some knowledge of chickens preferred Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward safety and quality. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive approach to learning new skills. Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is a plus but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates interested in developing their expertise.
