POSITION OVERVIEW
•Starting pay listed above is Introductory level position, pay is based on experience• The landscaping team member is an experienced landscaper and assist the team leader. The position works as a member of the team and is responsible for landscape maintenance and enhancement projects under the direction of the team leader. This position
REQUIRES
a valid and current driver's license and a drug screen.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILIES
Completes landscape maintenance duties, such as mowing, mulching, spring clean-up, fall clean-up, trimming, and pruning. Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edger's, commercial mowers, blowers, dump trailers, chain saws, line trimmers, and tillers. Completes landscape enhancement projects such as mulch application, plantings, top soil application, lawn seeding. Maintains a clean safe work environment, including work site and equipment. If approved as a driver, safely operates vehicles such as trucks and trailer combinations. Completes the job in the most time-efficient manner meeting the company productivity targets. Communicates clients concerns to the team leader or management. Cares for equipment and notifies management of needed repairs. Assists the team leader with route and job organization, ensuring that sufficient resources and materials are available. Demonstrates a positive attitude and work ethic with other team members, customers, management, and the community. Willing to train the right individual who is motivated to learn more about the landscaping industry. Candidate must be able to read with good comprehension and write. To be approved as a driver--Ohio Driver's License and insurable with company's agent. Snow plowing and salt application experience is a plus. Experience with installation of hardscape projects - brick, block, and stone is a plus. Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, crouch, stoop, or kneel. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather (heat or cold), and moving mechanical equipment. In addition, job sites are located on both residential and commercial property. The employee may also occasionally be exposed to the homeowners pets. snow removal such as plowing/salting, shoveling, running equipment Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Independently lift 50 lbs. regularly Ability to work well with others as well as individually Attention to detail Reliable, punctual, hardworking Benefits Great Work Environment
