Responsibilities:

• Prune trees and shrubs to maintain their health and appearance
• Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees according to landscape plans
• Installation of mulch, rock, and topsoil.
• Lawn care including mowing, edging, weedwhacking, aeration, overseeding, and blowing.

Skills:

• Knowledge of hand tools commonly used in landscaping
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, edgers, and blowers
• Familiarity with different plant species and their care requirements
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
• Must have valid drivers license and knowledge of driving and backing up a trailer

Note:

We require 2 years of prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping. Pay will begin at $20 an hour and be bumped according to your ability within a month of beginning the job. We run on a 4 day work week, but there are plenty of opportunities for overtime.
