Immediately Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Groundskeeper/Porter to be responsible for the overall upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings of our multi-family apartment complex. The Groundskeeper/Porter is a representative of the property and should conduct themselves in a professional, welcoming and helpful manner.
Responsibilities:
Maintain overall cleanliness and presentation of the community, including curb appeal, trash pick-up, cleaning common areas and sweeping Mow grassy areas using push or power mower Trim and edge around walks, flower beds and walls, using clippers, weed cutters and edging tools Spread mulch around flower beds and shrubs Perform trash-outs on vacated apartments, removing all trash and furniture left behind Assist maintenance tech as needed
Skills:
Groundskeeping, janitorial or related experience preferred Able to stand extended periods and lift at least 35 pounds Ability to maintain a friendly, professional attitude with prospects and residents Must pass criminal background check
