Landscaper/Groundskeeper

Winland's Complete Landscaping is looking for a hardworking and dependable Landscape Laborer to join our team. Duties include mowing, trimming, planting, mulching, landscape installation, and general outdoor labor. Employees will work with hand tools, equipment, and crew members to complete landscaping projects safely and efficiently.

Duties Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to ensure lush, healthy turf. Perform landscape maintenance including planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and installing new landscaping features. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for trimming, pruning, planting, and general groundskeeping tasks. Use heavy equipment for site preparation, grading, or installing hardscape elements like patios or walkways. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for visitors. Support construction projects related to landscape enhancements or hardscape installations by following detailed plans and specifications. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Collaborate with team members on landscape design ideas and project execution to deliver outstanding results. Experience Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is highly preferred; familiarity with lawn care techniques is essential. Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant selection, soil preparation, and pest management. Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools such as trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and mowers. Experience using construction equipment like excavators or skid steers for site work or hardscape installation. Understanding of irrigation systems installation and maintenance practices. Ability to perform tree care activities including trimming and pruning with proper safety procedures. Strong work ethic with the ability to follow detailed instructions while working independently or as part of a team. $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
