Job Description
Overview CRCC is accepting applications for full-time, part time, and seasonal positions. Full-time 40+ hours per week, Part time 20+hours per week, Seasonal 40+hours per week through season. College students needing a part time job. Applicants must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions and perform physical labor with the ability to lift 50 pounds. Duties include weed eating, edging, walk mowing greens, hand raking bunkers, flower bed maintenance, and watering. Days of work are dependent on schedule. Responsibilities Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment including mowers, chainsaws, power tools, and irrigation systems to ensure optimal course conditions. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and planting to uphold the course's visual appeal. Manage irrigation systems efficiently by adjusting watering schedules and repairing irrigation components to maintain healthy turf and plant life. Conduct athletic field groundskeeping activities including turf repair, soil conditioning, and pest management to promote healthy playing surfaces. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting, ground leveling, and debris removal using hand tools while adhering to safety protocols. Apply pesticides responsibly following pesticide management guidelines to control pests while protecting the environment. Maintain equipment through routine inspections and repairs to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Support landscaping projects by planting trees, shrubs, and flowers that enhance the course's aesthetic appeal. Operate company vehicles safely for transporting tools, equipment, or materials around the course grounds. Skills Proficiency in operating grounds maintenance equipment including lawn mowers, power tools, chainsaws, and irrigation systems. Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices such as lawn care, gardening, horticulture, and athletic field groundskeeping. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Experience with pesticide management practices in accordance with safety standards. Familiarity with equipment maintenance routines to ensure longevity and safety of tools and machinery. Knowledge of power tool safety procedures to prevent accidents during operation. Ability to operate a variety of landscaping machinery including aerators, trimmers, blowers, and hedge cutters. Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions along with excellent attention to detail. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members on maintenance projects.
