Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, trimming trees, planting flowers, and mulching to keep outdoor areas attractive and healthy Operate groundskeeping equipment such as lawn mowers, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems with precision and safety adherence Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal plant health Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to support effective landscaping and pest management strategies Conduct hardscape maintenance including cleaning pathways, repairing walkways, and maintaining outdoor structures Apply pesticides and herbicides following safety protocols to control pests while safeguarding the environment Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties while adhering to safety standards Be open to assisting with other general maintenance tasks Experience Prior outdoor work experience in groundskeeping or landscaping is highly preferred Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, pruning, planting, and soil care Familiarity with landscaping tools such as hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment like excavators or tree trimmers Understanding of horticulture principles including plant identification and care practices Experience operating irrigation systems and troubleshooting common issues Ability to follow safety protocols rigorously during all tasks involving power tools or hazardous materials Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor efficiently Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant landscapes!
