Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining beautiful landscapes and gardens, ensuring that our outdoor spaces are well-kept and inviting. This role requires hands-on work with various landscaping tools and equipment, as well as a commitment to quality and attention to detail. Duties Perform regular lawn care, including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy grass and plant life. Landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, weeding, mulching, and pruning shrubs and trees. Irrigate gardens and lawns effectively to ensure optimal growth and health of plants. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for various groundskeeping tasks. Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, including removing debris and litter from grounds. Monitor the health of plants and landscapes, reporting any issues or concerns to management. Assist in the design and implementation of new landscaping projects as needed. Custodial duties to include, maintaining locker rooms, and cleaning of athletic facilities. Qualifications Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required. Knowledge of irrigation systems, lawn care practices, and garden maintenance techniques is a plus. Ability to operate power tools (e.g., lawnmowers, trimmers) and hand tools safely. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Attention to detail with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality results.
