Job Description

South Shore Association is looking for a dependable groundskeeper with a strong work ethics and the desire to keep our grounds well maintained for our South Beach community. This position can start off as a full or part-time. We offer paid holidays and PTO. Landscaping experience is preferred and we will work with the successful applicant to learn the equipment and systems we use by working with our senior landscapers. You would work in a beautiful, gated community right next to the beach. Lastly you must have a car to get to and from work. The list below is what would be some tasks to do depending on the day at hand. Core Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lawn Care & Maintenance:
Mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and watering grass to ensure healthy turf.
Planting & Upkeep:
Planting flowers, trees, shrubs, and sod; weeding, mulching, and pruning overgrown branches.
Hardscaping:
Installing and repairing non-plant elements such as walking paths, stone patios, outdoor lighting, and irrigation systems.
Seasonal Services:
Performing spring and fall clean-ups, leaf removal, and winter services like snow shoveling and salting.
Equipment Operations:
Operating specialized machinery like lawnmowers, leaf blowers, chainsaws, weed whackers, and trimmers safely.
