Duties Perform grass cutting, mowing, and edging using hand tools, power tools, and lawn care equipment to ensure lush, tidy lawns. Maintain landscape features including hardscape elements such as pathways, patios, and retaining walls with appropriate tools and techniques. Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and tree trimming to promote healthy growth and safety. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and system maintenance for optimal plant health. Carry out landscaping tasks including planting, gardening, soil preparation, and horticulture practices to enhance outdoor aesthetics. Utilize excavators and other construction equipment for site preparation or landscape installation projects. Perform snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible. Conduct routine maintenance on landscaping machinery and hand tools to ensure safety and efficiency in all tasks. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of lawn care equipment, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems. Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, and hoes; adept with power tools including trimmers and blowers. Knowledge of landscape design principles and hardscape installation techniques. Ability to operate construction machinery safely and efficiently for site development projects. Familiarity with tree care procedures including trimming and tree trimming techniques for safety and health. Excellent understanding of maintenance routines for landscaping equipment to ensure longevity and performance. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail.
