This role offers the opportunity to work outdoors, applying your skills in landscape maintenance, turf care, and equipment operation to create an exceptional golfing environment. Whether you're passionate about lawn care, irrigation systems, or landscaping, this position provides a chance to contribute to a beautiful and well-maintained course. Hours are subject to change, early and late season being 5:30 AM-10:30 AM, mid-season being 5:00 AM-10:00 AM. Responsibilities Operate groundskeeping equipment, mainly including the mower unit, safely and efficiently to maintain the golf course's turf and landscape features. Handle manual tasks such as lifting of materials or equipment parts while adhering to proper safety protocols. This mainly includes emptying the clippings, or grass bag. Maintain equipment through regular cleaning and hose-offs after operation. You may be asked to support seasonal projects like aeration or overseeding while following safety standards for power tool operation. Qualifications Prior experience in golf course groundskeeping, athletic field maintenance or landscaping is preferred but not required; thorough training will be provided for motivated candidates. Ability to operate grounds maintenance machinery including lawnmowers and company vehicles safely. Comfortable performing manual labor tasks such as lifting and manual handling of landscaping materials or equipment parts. Familiarity with power tool safety standards and equipment maintenance procedures is desirable, training in all aspects will be provided Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety guidelines during all groundskeeping activities. A proactive attitude with excellent teamwork skills to collaborate effectively within the mowing crew. This job also comes with a full time golfing membership! Tee times are to be made through the pro shop.
