Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated, dependable, and skilled full-time Ranch Operations Hand to join our team. We are a veteran-owned and operated company and strongly encourage veterans to apply. Candidates with hands-on military or civilian experience in areas such as equipment operation, CDL driving, forklift operation, carpentry, plumbing, construction, landscaping, logistics, maintenance, or other skilled trades are especially encouraged to apply. Relevant experience is valued, and certifications are not necessarily required. This is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of both indoor and outdoor areas of a private ranch and business property. The role includes landscaping, lawn care, equipment operation, vehicle upkeep, general property maintenance, and seasonal work. The ideal candidate is reliable, mechanically inclined, flexible, and willing to take initiative. No two days are exactly the same, so we are looking for someone who enjoys variety, working with their hands, and being part of a team. Responsibilities Perform routine landscaping and lawn maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, and general groundskeeping. Plant, water, and maintain flower beds, shrubs, trees, and other landscaping. Perform snow removal and seasonal property maintenance. Clear debris from walkways, parking areas, driveways, and other outdoor spaces. Operate tractors, skid loaders, forklifts, mowers, utility vehicles, trailers, and other property equipment as needed. Safely operate hand tools and power tools. Perform basic maintenance and repairs on equipment, vehicles, buildings, and property. Maintain all vehicles on the property, including keeping them clean, fueled, organized, and ready for use. Inspect and maintain groundskeeping and property maintenance equipment for safe and efficient operation. Assist with general property improvements, repairs, and special projects. Maintain clean, organized, and professional indoor and outdoor work areas. Assist with additional ranch and operational needs as required. Qualifications and Skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable transportation to and from work. Experience with basic hand tools and power tools. General knowledge of landscaping, lawn care, groundskeeping, and property maintenance. Prior experience operating tractors, skid loaders, forklifts, trailers, or other farm or heavy equipment is preferred. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform basic repairs and maintenance. Ability to safely lift 100 lbs or more. Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, functional, and professional spaces. Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional appearance and attitude. Dependable, adaptable, and willing to learn. Military experience involving maintenance, logistics, transportation, construction, engineering, equipment operation, or skilled trades is highly valued.
