Construction/Facilities/Campus Maintenance Milton Hershey School (MHS) is one of the world's best pre-K through 12th grade private schools, where approximately 2,200 students from disadvantaged backgrounds are provided with a cost-free home and a top-notch career-focused education. Thanks to the generosity of Milton and Catherine Hershey in 1909, the school is fully endowed today, with the resources to ensure students can thrive. The school has prepared over 12,000 graduates to lead fulfilling and productive lives and is expanding to serve more students for future generations. MHS is seeking a full-time Groundskeeper II (G-II) to help maintain the 2,700-acre campus. The G-II main duties include the care of trees, shrubs and turf through regular maintenance tasks such as pruning, mowing, trimming, fertilizing, and chemical applications. Also, the G-II performs standard duties with the maintenance of campus athletic fields and the public nine-hole Spring Creek Golf Course facility located on the grounds. Furthermore, during winter months, the G-II assists with snow and ice removal. Bargaining unit Local 464 position with an hourly pay rate of $33.54.   • Friday with forty (40) hours per week with a minimum of two (2) consecutive non-workdays. A flex shift employee works a combination of the shift times listed below to be scheduled as determined by the needs of the school seasonal or programmatic changes: 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 5 years of experience working with chemical/pesticide application. Valid PA Driver's License in good standing. Valid Pennsylvania Pesticide/Licensed Applicator License (Cat. 6 and 7 or 23); or obtain license within 6 months of hire. Candidates must be willing to actively engage with students. Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as all MHS staff are role models for MHS students. Apply Now
