Job Description
Job Summary Join our growing team at Latrobe Lawn And Landscape LLC as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves assisting with a variety of landscaping projects, from planting and lawn care to hardscape installation!. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, contributing to the aesthetic and functional quality of residential, commercial, and public landscapes. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscape maintenance, gardening, and construction while supporting the transformation of outdoor environments. Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees and shrubs to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators under supervision to complete landscaping projects efficiently. Support planting, irrigation system installation, and garden bed preparation to enhance landscape design. Perform snow plowing and removal during winter months to maintain safe access for clients and visitors. Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner to promote safety standards. Contribute to hardscape projects by assisting with the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other features. Follow safety protocols at all times while working with machinery such as excavators or power tools, ensuring a secure work environment for everyone involved. Skills Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment. Strong understanding of lawn care practices including mowing, mulching, aeration, and weed control. Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques Experience with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting to support healthy plant growth. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in landscaping or construction environments.
