Job Description

We're looking for a dependable, handy person to help out around our home and small homestead a day or two each week. This isn't a stiff, corporate kind of job — we're after someone who likes working with their hands, knows how to stay busy, and takes pride in doing good, thoughtful work. Our place is more of a living homestead than a manicured lawn. We barely mow the yard, and we'd rather work with the land than fight it. Experience or real interest in food forests, permaculture, native plants, and natural land care is important to us. What You'll Be Doing Helping with yard and grounds care. Light mowing, trimming, and seasonal cleanup when needed. Weeding, mulching, planting, pruning, and tending garden or native plant areas. Helping care for food forest and homestead spaces. Light home maintenance and general fix-it work. Keeping an eye out for what needs doing and jumping in where helpful. What We're Looking For Reliable, hardworking, and easy to get along with. Someone who doesn't need to be micromanaged. A good attitude and solid work ethic matter a lot. Experience with gardening, landscaping, homestead work, or home maintenance is helpful. Familiarity with permaculture, native plants, and food forest care is a big plus. Someone who appreciates a more natural, lived-in property rather than a manicured one. Schedule Part-time. About 1 to 2 days per week. Schedule is flexible. Pay Pay based on experience, skill, and work ethic
